I Was Attacked By A Dog (+ Life Updates)

Hi guys! Who here forgot that this blog was a thing?

*raises hand slowly up in the air*

If you didn’t raise your hand, you’re a very kind person but probably an awful liar. LOL.

So I’ve been having some pretty awesome things happen in life. Friends have actually been talking and hanging out with me, I recently got a mentor that’s helping me develop my relationship with Jesus more, and life in general is pretty awesome for me. I really can’t complain too much.

Other than for the fact that I’m trying to raise funds for camp hahahahha HELP ME

I’m evenΒ  to the point where if I get a digital tablet, I very well might be able to start taking online commissions! (so maybe it isn’t all that crazy to think that you could actually help me get to camp in the future :D)

All that aside, I have a few “Yay God” reports to share with you all!

-I have a sleeping schedule back!Β which im currently ignoring to stay up to write this post It’s been pretty nice going to bed at a decent time, and waking up at a livable hour. Stupid o’clocks have been few and far between for me lately. I’ve come to realize that walking around during daylight hours has been a pretty awesome thing.

-I’ve also keep keeping up with a decent exercise routine. As quite a few of us bloggers know, NaNoWriMo has a magical affect of making you refusing to move for hours at a time along with sleepless nights as a side effect. I’ve been trying to reclaim my body, and I’m starting to feel better and more energized. Food on the other hand…

Why do carbs have to taste so good?

Excuse me as I weep for my buttered bread in the corner. And my ramen noodles. Or, y’know- about 3/4 of my comfort food in general.

-I’ve just been invited to play the piano on my worship team over at my Church! WHAT.

This was crazy to me. All I was doing was hanging out in one of the music rooms at church that has a piano in it, and our guitarist came up to me and asked if I’d be interested in playing piano/keyboard. Which is NUTS for me to think about because I had JUST learned how to find chords and play piano over at one of my friend’s musical workshops that he advertised over at my youth group.

We’re still seeing if I’m going to be a good fit for the group, but I’m excited. I think this could be a wonderful learning experience for me if everything does work out. ^_^

-I JUST GOT A FEW ART COMMISSIONS *cries happily in the corner*

My youth group camp has grown to be such an important thing for me every year because I almost ALWAYS come back changed in really awesome ways. My confidence grows in leaps and bounds, and I always feel like I’m closer to Jesus afterwards. It’s just a magical thing for me in everyway, shape, and form. So the more commissions I get, the closer I become to getting to camp.

And so now, I present to you the reason why you probably clicked on this post in the first place-

I was attacked by a dog.

And no, this ACTUALLY isn’t clickbait.

I was out walking by myself in our neighborhood. It was a fantastic day, the sun was shining, and the weather was absolutely perfect. I’m not sure if heaven even had beautiful days like those.

I came up to a dead end street, and I began to walk down it when this fat and fluffy blonde labrador dog escaped from his house. His owners were screaming after him but the floofy borker couldn’t care less. He ran towards me at the speed of light and-

Jumped on me as he was wagging his tail; sniffing me and barked at me a few more times before he went on his merry way to run to another person across the street.

A fat fluffy dog attacked me with his version of hugs and kisses. Totally made my day. His owners apologized about 7 different times for having him jump up on me like that, but I wasn’t complaining. Like at all.

I finished the rest of that beautiful walk thinking about that cute pupper running at me to say hi. πŸ˜€

That wasn’t the story that you guys expected to hear, right? Do you feel mislead, relieved, or disappointed because I don’t have a picture of the actual doggo to show you? Maybe all the above? I wanna hear from you guys! It’s been awhile. I need to know how all my readers are doing!

Thanks for reading to the end!

  1. Woah, I’m glad to hear you’re alright!

I have a fear of larger dogs, because I’m short and so large dogs are usually the same height or even taller than me if they stand on their hind legs. I’ve also been bitten by dogs a few too many times, so unless I know the dog well, I’m pretty cautious around canines. So I probably would’ve been scared out of my mind in that situation.

Glad to hear that your art is going well, and I hope you raise enough money to get to go to camp! πŸ˜€

      1. Yeah, unfortunately I have a tendency to meet either hyperactive, uncooperative dogs, or large dogs that could knock me over without even trying.

It also depends on the age of the dog though, since older dogs have always been more calm and nice towards me. πŸ™‚

    1. KenZIEEEEEE! πŸ˜€ <3<3<3<3 Yay! I'm happy I was forgotten in the abyss of the internet! (what did you do to get life while I was gone? LOL)

I'll definitely let you know if the pianist gig-thing (XD) works out! I was super surprised that the whole thing worked out like it did as it is. ^_^

HA. Same! I was doing good, and then I just stopped for 2 days. Ahahaha. *hides head in shame* BUT I will say that I just got back into it today. Hip-hip horray for persistence!

YES. COMMISSIONS. THIS MAKES ME HAPPY. Although, I have been PROCRASTINATING on these commissions. I don't know why my brain doesn't want to help me start on these, but I gotta do it soon. This money isn't going to walk into my pockets anytime soon. (sadly)
